Sarah Gold BIO

Born & raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Sarah Gold is a city girl with southern roots. Currently residing in New York City, she attended Oklahoma City University, where she majored in Dance and minored in History, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Performing Arts.

Credits include: 42nd Street at Lyric Opera of Chicago; West Side Story at IHI Stage Around Tokyo under the direction of David Saint & choreographer Julio Mongue; "An American in Paris" at Ogunquit Playhouse, and "Flashdance! The Musical" at Gateway Playhouse. She has performed internationally with Spirit Productions in the national and International tours of "A Broadway Christmas Wonderland," And traveled the world dancing for Royal Caribbean Cruiselines.

Lyric has announced full casting for its production of 42nd Street, to be presented May 29 - June 21, 2020, at the Lyric Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Previously announced Broadway stars Norm Lewis (Julian Marsh) and Faith Prince (Dorothy Brock) are joined by Isabelle McCalla (Peggy Sawyer), who recently starred in Broadway's The Prom and Aladdin, and Ashley Day (Billy Lawlor), who reprises his role from the West End revival of 42nd Street.

BWW Review: The Gateway's FLASHDANCE, THE MUSICAL


The Gateway theatre company's thrilling production of Flashdance, The Musical, is truly an electric way to end their busy Summer season. The sensational regional premiere, running through September 15th at the Patchogue Theatre, is excellently directed by Keith Andrews and boasts an absolutely superb cast. And though it is based on the famous 1983 movie, fans of the movie (like myself!) will notice several changes and will be pleasantly pleased in the stage incarnation.

Berkeley Rep presents World Premiere of IMAGINARY COMFORTS


Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the world premiere of Imaginary Comforts, or The Story of the Ghost of the Dead Rabbit, written by Daniel Handler and directed by Tony Taccone. The new play begins previews on Thursday, October 5 and the show runs through Sunday, November 19. From April 28th through May 2nd, the public will have the opportunity to visit www.Rockettes.com and vote for their favorite dancer.
