Sara Sevigny Biography
Sara Sevigny is an actor, singer, improviser, and writer. She says hello. Sara is quite particularly pleased to be a part of the Gray Talent Group. She is a founding member of Open Eye Productions, as well as an ensemble member of The Factory Theater. She just had her first play produced at The Factory, "League of Awesome" which she co-wrote with her besty, Corrbette Pasko.Sara Sevigny is a 2007 Equity Jeff Award Winner for her role as Sara Jane Moore in Porchlight Music Theatre's production of Stephen Sondheim's Assassins. She has had the pleasure to be asked to work with such fantastic Chicago theaters as Caffeine Theatre, Chicago Opera Vanguard, Griffin, Porchlight Music Theatre, Timeline, Strawdog, Back Stage Theatre, Lifeline, Stage Left, The Hypocrites, and Defiant (RIP).
Born in Evanston, Sara graduated with her BA in Theatre/Communications from Curry College. She spent a glorious summer training at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco, as well graduated Second City's conservatory back in the Stone Age of 1993. She also likes Diet Coke, in case you wanted to get her one.
