Sam Norman Biography
Sam Norman is an internationally produced lyricist, librettist and poet originally from England. His work has been produced and/or developed at the Lincoln Center, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, Alleyway Theater, Irvington Theater, the Edinburgh Fringe, the Guildford School of Acting, the Keble O’Reilly Theatre and the Burton Taylor Studio, as well as on a range of podcasts. He has been a finalist for the Mazumdar Short Play Prize and the Mercury Songwriting Contest, and won the national Stephen Spender Prize for Poetry in Translation and the OUFF Short Screenplay Competition. As a teenager, Sam authored a book of comic poems, A Teen’s Guide to Modern Manners (Little, Brown), which was warmly reviewed by Buzzfeed and The Huffington Post.
