Richard Paul Thomas

A Salado, Texas resident, singer, songwriter and guitarist, RpT has been performing for over 40 years. He encourages everyone to join in and get involved. In years past, Thomas has performed throughout the United States in concert with artists such as Anne Murray, Loggins & Messina, Helen Reddy, Townes Van Zandt, James Lee Stanley, Odetta, Michael Martin Murphey and many others. His life changing job was working for Jacques Cousteau’s Involvement Day, an environmental celebration of the planet Earth.

The Community of Salado presented a proclamation stating that SALADO, one of RpT’s songs from the play Captured Rainbow, has been adopted by the Village of Salado as its own recognizing the contribution that singer, songwriter and dreamer, Richard Paul Thomas, has embodied in this melody representing our spirit, character and history.
