Broadway Thriller MISERY Sets Student Rush Policy

Broadway's new smash-hit suspense thriller MISERY, starring two-time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Bruce Willis and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, has announced a student rush policy for the strictly limited engagement at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W 44th Street).  A limited number of $35 tickets (inclusive of a $2 facility fee) will be available to students 25 years old and younger when the box office opens for that day's performance(s). Photo identification is required.  Patrons are limited to two tickets person.  Tickets are subject to availability.

Theatre Ventures, Castle Rock Entertainment and Raymond Wu announced today tickets for Broadway's new suspense thriller Misery, starring two-time Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner Bruce Willis and three-time Emmy Award winner Laurie Metcalf, will go on sale exclusively for American Express Card Members beginning Wednesday, July 15, 2015. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, July 15th at 10am EST through Sunday, July 26th at 10pm EST by visiting www.telecharge.com or calling 212.239.6200.

Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Castle Rock Entertainment and Playhouse Productions present the world premiere of MISERY at Bucks County Playhouse (70 South Main Street, New Hope PA) this fall. Written by two-time Academy Award-winner William Goldman (who wrote the screenplay for Misery as well as The Princess Bride, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid), based on the acclaimed novel by Stephen King and directed by Will Frears (Coach, Year Zero), MISERY will play a limited developmental engagement of 11 performances only, tonight, November 24th through December 8th.

Barry Meyer, Chairman & CEO, Warner Bros., today announced a reorganization of Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, with Mark Kaufman and Raymond Wu sharing the position of Executive Vice President, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, the Studio's live theater production operation. Kaufman, who will be based in New York, and Wu, who will be based in Burbank, will both report to Alan Horn, who is overseeing the division in his consulting role for the Studio, reporting to Meyer.
