On Thursday, June 16th Third Rail Projects will celebrate the 200th performance of their critically acclaimed production of THE GRAND PARADISE, a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience in which visitors travel to a tropical paradise. Performances take place at The Grand Paradise, a venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn custom-built for the production, where it opened on January 30th and became one of Off-Broadway's biggest hits of the season. A post-performance celebration will follow the 200th performance on June 16th. The general public is invited to stop by Bushwick's newest Tiki Bar sensation The Shipwreck Lounge at The Grand Paradise (383 Troutman Street), beginning at 9:30pm. Grab a tasty tropical beverage and hang out with cast and company members all evening as they celebrate this milestone.

Performances will now run through September 4, 2016 on a new summer schedule.
ODC Theater will present the ninth home season of Hope Mohr Dance, a company esteemed for its 'rigorous conceptual approach to fundamental questions about the body in space and time' (Dance View Times). A company-in-residence at ODC, Hope Mohr Dance will perform a double bill featuring the world premiere of Manifesting, a dance theater work inspired by art manifestos, and the revival of Stay, Mohr's choreographic response to paintings of Francis Bacon. A Wake, based on the novel Finnegans Wake, explores what James Joyce called 'the dark night of the soul,' a meditation on love, death and the inescapability of the past. This latest dance theater piece by McAllister combines Joyce's wild, idiosyncratic language with original dialogue and choreography by McAllister. A Wake opens in preview tonight, October 16, 2014 and runs for three nights, Friday through Sunday, October 17 - 19 at ODC Theater.
