The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) production of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind will make its West End premiere @sohoplace following its run at the Swan Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The West End premiere of Marie and Rosetta is set for next year. Reprising their roles are multi-award winning singer and actress Beverley Knight as Rosetta Tharpe and Ntombizodwa Ndlovu making her West End debut as Marie Knight.

Controversially Tharpe took her conservative gospel roots into the nightclubs, playing with Duke Ellington and selling millions of records in the USA and the UK during the 1930s and 40s, yet she ended her life in an unmarked grave.
