BIO

Nicholas Perry, age 20, was born in southern Ukraine near the Black Sea. Coming to the United States at a very young age, the arts immediately spoke to him. Throughout his childhood, he tried his hand around many forms of art - drawing, painting, dancing, acting, singing, photography; but at the age of 10, through his public school music program, Nicholas was introduced to the violin, and it has since then become the love of his life.
In 2008, Nicholas attended The Pennsylvania Governor's School of Excellence for the Arts, on full scholarship, made possible by the State Department of Education, where he studied with violinist, Sylvia Ahramjian, and cellist, Ovidiu Marinescu. In 2010, Nicholas attended The Benjamin T. Rome School of Music of The Catholic University of America, also on full scholarship, where he was advised by Jody Gatwood, mentored by Denise Puricelli, and coached by Emil Chudnovsky.
