Molly Kate Babos

Molly Kate Babos (she/her) is an actress and playwright based out of Brooklyn. She obtained her BFA in Dramatic Arts from The New School For Drama, and studied at The British American Drama Academy. Molly is currently a member of Scèal Nua, Origin Theatre’s writing group at the Irish Arts Center. Her play “You're Invited to Jessica's Tenth Birthday Bash" premiered at The Tank in August of 2021, her play “The Pine Barrens” premiered at LimeArts 20x20 festival in 2022, and her play “Guard Bitches” premiered at Villagers Theatre in 2024 and was nominated for a Perry Award. She has also had several one-act plays produced at The Queens Short Play Festival, The Players Theatre, The Thornhill Fringe Festival, Dragonfly Multicultural Arts Center, and The In The Works 10 Minute Play Festival.
As an actress, she has performed Off-Broadway in Erica Schmidt’s Orpheus Descending and in the podcast It Happened Here 2024, starring Tony Shalhoub and Edie Falco.
