Milena Govich Biography

Milena was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma.? She graduated Valedictorian of her high school before completing a double-major in Performance and Pre-Med with minors in Dance and Violin at the University of Central Oklahoma, again graduating Valedictorian.? Shortly thereafter, Milena moved to New York and found her way to the Broadway stage within a year.? She was first seen as 'Lulu' in the Broadway revival of Cabaret at Studio 54, and eventually performed the lead role of 'Sally Bowles' in that production.? Following that, she was featured in the limited Broadway run of The Boys From Syracuse, and then traveled to China to appear on a series of rock concerts with the country's top recording artist, Fei Xiang.? Over the past summer, Milena appeared as 'Lucy' in Lyric Theatre's production of Jekyll & Hyde and 'Carla' in North Shore Music Theatre's production of Nine.? Most recently, she has won considerable acclaim for her work in a number of independent films, particularly her starring role in the film, Bad Behavior.?
