Next week, 54 BELOW will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

This Broadway power couple from Jersey Boys and West Side Story, will perform some of their favorite holiday songs, seasonal favorites and a handful of surprises, and will feature guests from School of Rock, Wicked, Rock of Ages, Kiss Me Kate, Come From Away and more. They will be joined by music director and pianist Gillian Berkowitz on piano, Jon Berger on drums and Mike Preen on the upright bass.

MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL, the hit musical celebration of the life and music of the original 1970s "Queen of Disco," Sylvester, returns to New York City August 11th, 2018.

IN A SEA OF FACES: A New Folk Opera by Jahn Sood will be presented at Cloud City, an alternative arts space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 85 N. 1st St, running September 15-22, 2016. The piece is made up of folk songs and movement and is a celebration of oral tradition, family and life near the ocean.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was presented the 2012 BroadwayWorld Best Male Vocalist winner William Blake in concert on Monday, July 22nd at 7pm. L!VE Asbury Park presents Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Chris Hall (Hedwig) and Kendal Hartse (Yitzhak) have signed on as the leads along side musicians Michael Thomas Murray, Mike Preen and Steve Kelly. Hedwig will run tonight, June 21 and June 22 & 23rd for five live performances at The Press Room, located at 610 Bangs Avenue in downtown Asbury Park.

The show, 'Echoes of Etta,' celebrated the musical legacy of Etta James, and included her first #1 hit, 'The Wallflower (Roll With Me, Henry),' her quintessential 'At Last,' and rare interview recordings of the star. The band included Michael Thomas Murray on piano and Fender Rhodes, Oscar Bautista on guitar, Mike Preen on bass, Steve Kelly on drums, Matthew Polashek on sax. 'The Peaches' included Shira Elias, Ashley Betton and Stephany Mora.
