BIO

Michael Pesce is a Manhattan based director and performer who has appeared regionally throughout North America and in parts of Europe. He has also hosted his own hit cabaret show, The Old Fashioned Piano Party, here in New York City at the Laurie Beechman Theater. Michael has been working within the Broadway community for two decades focusing on liberating the voices of his studio community, one-on-one, to create dynamic work in an environment that is safe, nurturing, and spiritually sound. He is a very proud coach of Tony and Grammy nominated performers. Graduate of Syracuse University Drama and Actors' Equity Association member.

Casting has been announced for THE FLOOD, an original musical inspired by the historic 1993 Mississippi River Floods. This one night only special concert presentation will take place at TheTimesCenter (242 West 41st Street) on Saturday, September 8 at 8pm. Produced by the Prospect Theater Company, THE FLOOD kicks off their 2018-2019 season and this IGNITE series concert is presented in partnership with Greymatters Productions.

Prospect Theater Company to Present Concert Reading of THE FLOOD, 10/19

Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) announces a one-show-only concert reading of their original musical The Flood, on Saturday, October 19th at 3pm. First developed by Prospect in 2000-2001, with a subsequent full production in 2006, the book, music and lyrics of this new musical are by founding company members Peter Mills and Cara Reichel. This special encore concert presentation will raise funds to support Prospect's work developing new musicals by emerging writers. The concert is directed by Cara Reichel and music directed by Daniel Feyer.
