Rochester Fringe Festival favorites Matt Morgan and Heidi Brucker Morgan are returning to the Rochester Fringe Festival this year in an all-new production of Shotspeare, one of Rochester Fringe's most popular events, in the festival's sparkling Spiegeltent for a limited engagement of five nights only: Tuesday, Sept. 19 through Saturday, Sept. 23, at 9 p.m.

Dance Now Announces Lineup For 2019 Festival Encore, September 26


DANCE NOW announces the lineup for the 2019 Festival ENCORE! The one-night-only performance will feature the 10 choreographers/companies selected by the DANCE NOW producers for having most successfully met the 2019 DANCE NOW Challenge: to create a clear and complete artistic statement in five minutes or less for the specifics of the stage at Joe's Pub. This year's Challenge winner is Nicole Vaughan-Diaz. As the Challenge winner, Vaughan-Diaz will receive a $1,500 stipend and a weeklong creative residency at DANCE NOW Silo on Kirkland Farm in Bucks County, PA. The ENCORE! program will be hosted by Deborah Lohse (aka TruDee).

BIG APPLE CIRCUS announces that real-life wonder women will take the reins of the 41st season, led by new ringmaster Stephanie Monseu, for their annual Boston-area appearance, playing this spring at Northshore Mall, Peabody. Playing under the Big Top, the show will run from April 4 - May 5, 2019 and will feature a new Mirror Room VIP experience leading into the Big Top tent, with craft circus treats and entertainment for all ages.
