Conceived and originally directed by John Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time. Based on the Gospel According to St. Matthew, and featuring a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell boasts a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit, 'Day By Day.'

Bijou Theatre to Stage FAME as Part of the Summer Stock Series

Maggie Pangrazio Named New Artistic Director of Bijou Performing Arts Center

The Bijou Performing Arts Center, thebijoutheatre.com, welcomes Maggie Pangrazio as Artistic Director. Pangrazio, who has an extensive theatrical background, has recently been involved in productions with The Bijou Theatre, Darien Arts Center, New Canaan Powerhouse Players, Westport Community Theatre, Curtain Call, Downtown Cabaret Theatre, Brien McMahon High School, and Bridgeport Theatre Company. She recently directed 'Dial M for Murder' at The Bijou Theatre and a production of 'Dracula' for Bridgeport Theatre Company. She acts as Director of the Kids' Theatre Program at Darien Arts Center, where she teaches theatre to students, ages 3 to 18.
