New Riders Of The Purple Sage emerged out of the San Francisco music scene in 1969 – their original lineup featuring several Grateful Dead members – and soon became one of the hottest live acts to catch. They released their debut in 1971 (peaking at #39 on the Top 200) and 1973's The Adventures Of Panama Red reached RIAA Gold status.

Kicking off on Thursday, May 23 at XL Live in Harrisburg, PA, Turner's Undefeated Tour will feature his long-standing band The Sleeping Souls and hit markets across the south, midwest, west coast and east coast. Chris Smither is set to perform a special concert live at Club Passim to celebrate the release of his latest album, More From the Levee. Smither will play an acoustic set live in an empty Club Passim, a music venue that hosted his very first gig when he arrived in Cambridge in his early twenties.
