Country Music Hall of Famer, five-time Grammy-winner, and AMA Lifetime Achievement honoree Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives came to perform at the Woodward Opera House in Mount Vernon, Ohio on April 8th, 2023. Marty Stuart is an American country and bluegrass music singer, songwriter, and musician. Active since 1968, Stuart initially toured with Lester Flatt, and then in Johnny Cash's road band before beginning work as a solo artist in the early 1980s. Legendary country musician Marty Stuart and renowned American Roots artists The Wood Brothers touch down in Old Town Scottsdale this spring at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Country music star Buddy Jewell is set to debut his stirring version of 'The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down' on the 50th anniversary of the original release of the famed song. Written by Robbie Robinson and released by The Band in 1969, Jewell will perform his rendition on his weekly Facebook Live show called Tuesday's Tune on Tuesday, September 17, 2019  at 6 p.m. Central/7 p.m. Eastern.

With the radio release of Tall Fiddler just a few short weeks ago, Michael Cleveland is celebrating a successful venture with his latest Compass Records album co-produced by Nashville hitmakers, Jeff White and Sean Sullivan. The 12-track project featuring cross-genre musicians Tommy Emmanuel, Sam Bush, Del McCoury, Bela Fleck, The Travelin' McCourys, Guthrie Trapp, Tim O'Brien, Dan Tyminski, Jerry Douglas, and Cleveland's own award winning band (IBMA's 5-Time Instrumental Group) Flamekeeper, is perfectly poised to be one of the year's best efforts.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, has officially come to a close, but not without a number of electric collaborations, spontaneous sit-ins, and world-class performances. Wynonna & The Big Noise, Amos Lee, Tyler Childers, Sam Bush Band, Brandi Carlile, and The Avett Brothers all brought extra MerleFest energy to the Watson Stage, marking another successful year for the long-running festival. Early estimates show that from its start on Thursday, April 25, to its close on Sunday, April 28, participation over the festival's four days exceeded 75,000 attendees and artists from across the world. MerleFest, held on the campus of Wilkes Community College, is the primary fundraiser for the WCC Foundation, which funds scholarships, capital projects, and other educational needs.

MerleFest, presented by Window World, is proud to announce the initial lineup for MerleFest 2019, which will be held April 25-28. The annual homecoming of musicians and music fans returns to the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The complete lineup for MerleFest 2019 will be announced over the next few months. Today's lineup announcement includes Wynonna & The Big Noise, Keb' Mo', The Earls of Leicester, Sam Bush, Tyler Childers, Peter Rowan and The Free Mexican Air Force, and many more. The 2019 Late Night Jam on Saturday, April 27th will start at 10:30 p.m. and run well past midnight, hosted by Chatham County Line. This very popular after-hours hootenanny in the Walker Center gathers many performers from the festival for impromptu artistic collaborations and one-of-a-kind superstar jams that have become legendary in the festival's history. Ticket sales for both the festival and Late Night Jam begin at 10 a.m. EST on Nov. 13th.

During an annual event honoring their rich bluegrass heritage, Liberty Square: A Lester Flatt Celebration, the City of Sparta, Tennessee recognized the achievements of Josh Swift by inducting him into their Bluegrass Hall of Fame.   

CMH Records (County. Music.
