Aspiring musical theatre creators have the chance of a lifetime to workshop their new musicals at the upcoming 2024 ASCAP Foundation Musical Theatre Librettist Workshop. Submissions are now being accepted and will be considered for this workshop taking place in Los Angeles. 

The next Musical Theatre Melodies broadcast, hosted by Rob Morrison on 96.5 FM on Tuesday, August 31st will mark the 50th anniversary of Claibe Richardson and Kenward Elmslie's THE GRASS HARP (based on the novel and play by Truman Capote), the 1971 Broadway musical which starred Barbara Cook, Karen Morrow, Carol Brice, Russ Thacker, Ruth Ford and Max Showalter.

ACTRESSES: AN ADAPTATION OF CHEKHOV'S 'THE SEAGULL' is the kind of production that captures one's attention. Anon Chekhov's 1895 drama was first produced the following year and became a landmark play in Konstantin Stanislavsky's 1898 staging for the Moscow Art Theatre.

The Atlanta Opera celebrates its 35th year of live productions with Giuseppe Verdi's tragic masterpiece, Rigoletto. This new, visually stimulating production is a co-production of Boston Lyric Opera, The Atlanta Opera, and Opera Omaha and was originally directed by The Atlanta Opera's General & Artistic Director Tomer Zvulun.

Kevin made his highly anticipated NYC cabaret debut last June with Musical director/arranger CHRISTOPHER MARLOWE at the piano and played an equally successful return engagement in October. During his 10 years in San Francisco, he headlined at San Francisco's Plush Room, performed at the San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Center, Lush Lounge, and in various benefit concerts including 2 editions of Steve Murray's Viva Variety.
