I'LL SAY SHE IS, the legendary musical comedy that was the Broadway debut of the Marx Brothers, originally opened 92 years ago today -- on May 19, 1924 at the 875-seat Casino Theatre on Broadway at 39th Street. It played for 313 performances before being lost to history. Thanks to Grouch Marx enthusiast Noah Diamond, I'LL SAY SHE IS will return to the stage in a historic new production at The Connelly Theater beginning previews May 28.

R CULTURE, the edgy and darkly funny new play that satirically examines how modern American culture and rape culture collide and overlap, written by playwright Cecilia Copeland ('Light of Night,' Indie Theatre Now's 2013 Person of the Year) and directed by Emily Lerer ('In the Air Tonight') will be presented Off-Broadway at IRT Theatre (154 Christopher Street) with preview performances beginning tonight, November 7 prior to an official press opening of November 9.

On Monday, September 22, 2014, The Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 10 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2014 recipients at its annual event. Celebrating ten years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center, 17 Lexington Avenue. Legged Dogand Untitled Theater Company #61 are pleased to announce the return of THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG, written by Vaclav Havel and Vladimir Moravek, adapted into English by Edward Einhorn. Directed by Henry Akona and featuring music from The Bartered Bride by Bed?ich Smetana (with musical arrangements by Mr. Akona), THE PIG, OR VÁCLAV HAVEL'S HUNT FOR THE PIG begins performances on Thursday, March 6 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 29. Opening Night is Monday, March 10 at 8 PM. The performance schedule is Thursday - Saturday at 8:00 PM; Sunday at 7:00 PM, with an added performance on Monday March 10 at 8 PM. Performances are at 3LD Art and Technology Center (80 Greenwich Street, at Rector, in downtown Manhattan). Tickets are $45, which includes dinner from Korzo; or $20 (without food).
