Jane Comer Biography
Jane is a producer, actress and playwright based in Portland Oregon. She started performing at a young age in imitation of what she saw in the virtual reality world of television. She was indeed that kid who was in anything resembling a play at school. One middle school play was titled ?Run, Robber Run,? where her character wound up with a pie in the face. Despite being born with a speech impediment, was named the best actor and speaker of her school. Nothing is impossible, even if you were a kid who talked funny and got pies in the face! She spent significant time studying theatre at both Western Oregon University and the University of Oregon, and has a BA in writing and theatre from Linfield College. She has acted at various theatres throughout Oregon and SW Washington, including Lakewood Theatre Company, Mt. Hood Rep, Pentacle Theatre, and Heartland. As a writer, she is the author of fiction for younger people, including the books A Farm Beneath the Moon; What We All Quietly Scream For; Really Truly Katherine Beagan; and A Vacant Room.Jane Comer News
