Bedlam's DO MORE: NEW PLAYS readings series returns for its third year with five thrilling new plays. All performances will take place at Houghton Hall Arts, 22 East 30th Street.

BEDLAM has announced casting for its 2023 season, which will feature two world premieres: Zuzanna Szadkowski & Deborah Knox’s FALL RIVER FISHING and Talene Monahon’s THE GOOD JOHN PROCTOR. 

Philip Barry's 1928 classic is a romantic comedy, as advertised, but its layers of bittersweet emotional valence come through in this handsome production, directed by Anita Maynard-Losh.

On the heels of creating two audio plays during the pandemic (The Marriage Proposal, featuring Kimberly Gilbert, Jamie Smithson and Cody Nickell, and Laughter in the Shadow of the Trees, featuring Sarah Marshall, Holly Twyford and David Bryan Jackson), The Edge of the Universe Players 2 return to in-person producing with Caryl Churchill's A NUMBER.

Performances of BEDLAM's World Premiere of PERSUASION begin Saturday, September 11, 2021, at The Connelly Theater (220 East Fourth Street), opening Tuesday, September 21, for a limited 7-week engagement.

The Washington Stage follows up on its greatly popular presentation of Don Juan In Hell last November with a very different “devilish” play by Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw.

The fourth installment of Round House Theatre's Original Webseries Homebound is now live, with new episodes premiering every Monday through June 29. The 10-episode series is written by a different local playwright each week, and features 9 DC-area actors who would have performed on the Round House stage this spring.

Theater J, located in Washington, DC's Jewish Community Center focuses its work on celebrating and bringing light to the Jewish culture and its people. Anna Ziegler's The Wanderers is no exception to this mission. This is the fourth Ziegler play that Theater J has produced and its one that is sure to spark conversation, make the audience think deeply about the characters, and even toys with one's own emotions and thoughts on their own lives.

The Wanderers by Anna Ziegler begins performances in the renovated Aaron and Cecile Goldman Theater at the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center on February 19, 2020 and continues through March 15, 2020. Theater J's DC premiere will be directed by Amber McGinnis. The press is invited to Opening Night on Monday, February 24 at 7:30 PM.
