BIO
A resident of Los Angeles, Huck Walton is a multi-talented singer, actor, writer, composer, and sound engineer. He grew up surrounded by the performing arts, both in his family and in the artistic community of Sarasota, FL. As a child he performed in professional theater beginning at age eight (Golden Apple, Sarasota) and through his teens (Music Theater of Wichita, KS). Attending a performing arts high school, he played Joseph (JOSEPH AND...), Pippin (PIPPIN), The Baker (INTO THE WOODS). During that time his friends got together to buy him a pawn shop guitar and he spent the rest of his teens honing his skills and began writing for himself as a pop/rock artist. He continued songwriting at Columbia College, Chicago where he was a performance/sound engineering major. He left Columbia to pursue recording and composing. He starred in his musical THE CHARM which had an SRO, 2 night showcase at the Theater Building in Chicago. Landing in Los Angeles with an idea to make THE CHARM into a film musical he began working as an actor in Film, TV and Theater, as well as recording several CDs of his music. He formed a pop rock group the WallTones as front man and lead guitarist, performing in clubs like Hard Rock Cafe, The Mint, and The Viper Room. Huck has been a performer at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland. Returning to his musical theater roots, he played Jesus in 2 productions of GODSPELL, starred in THE LAST FIVE YEARS with his wife actress, writer, and comedienne Laura Hartley, and most recently as Vincent Van Gogh in STARRY, A New Musical at the Rockwell, L.A., Feinstein's 54 Below, NY and joined by Laura Hartley, at The Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland. Huck has been a guest artist at Catalina Jazz Club and twice at 54 Below. He is co-founder of the film company Accidental Jacket Entertainment, where he is the Music Supervisor and heads the Sound Department. Member: AEA, SAG/AFTRA, and AGVA. He is the son of Ann Morrison (MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG, LOVEMUSIK, GOBLIN MARKET) and Blake Walton (TREVOR'S FIRE, LEADING MEN).
