As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Kyle Dean Massey(Next to Normal, Wicked) and Ciara Renee (Big Fish) will assume the roles of 'Pippin' and 'Leading Player' (respectively) in the Tony-winning Pippin beginning Tuesday, April 1, 2014. Matthew James Thomas and Tony Award winner Patina Miller will play their final performance on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Breaking News: Tovah Feldshuh to Sub for Andrea Martin in PIPPIN

The producers of the Tony Award winning new Broadway production of PIPPIN have announced that four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Irena's Vow, Golda's Balcony) will play the role of 'Berthe' on Friday, August 9 through Sunday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 20 through Sunday, August 25 while two-time Tony Award winner Andrea Martin is on vacation. Ms. Martin returns to the role full-time on Tuesday, August 27. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

Producers Barry & Fran Weissler and Howard & Janet Kagan have announced casting for Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's PIPPIN, directed by Diane Paulus. PIPPIN will begin preview performances on Broadway Saturday, March 23, 2013 and officially open Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Music Box Theatre. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) opens its production of Pippin tonight, January 3, with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, book by Roger O. Hirson, directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus. The show runs through January 20, 2013.
