Delbert Unruh

I am an "All Catagories" member of United Scenic Artists LU 829. I have chosen to make my lifes's work as a Professor of Theatre at the University of Kansas. In addition to my academic duties, I also design professionally in the Equity Theatres in the Kansas City area.

I am also a historian of American and European design and design theory. In that capacity I have written 30+ articles in Theatre Design and Technology, Journal of the USITT. I have also written and/or edited five books on American Theatrical Designers. They are:
