BIO

Danielle Boivin is a graduate from University of Michigan with a BFA in Theater Performance.

She has taken part in the New York Fringe Festival as "Violet" in the Muscle in Question. Theatre critic Ana Freeman from "Theatre is Easy "has this to say about her performance.
"The acting is solid overall. And as" Violet", Boivin stands out, bringing genuine emotion to lines that might otherwise come across as melodramatic."
Danielle has also been seen in New York's Nylon Fusion Theater Company, playing "Dora" in the "Unmentionables." Review Fix and Roberta on the Arts had this to say.

Danielle also portrayed "Isobel" a meth dealer in training in the play "The Meth in Method" directed by Ann Cooley.
While at University of Michigan, she had the opportunity to portray "Claire" in "Proof"
She can be seen in a Canon Selphy Printer extended commercial, currently running on amazon. Her film include New York credits, Six Degrees of Murder and In-Between. She is also the principal in the music video "Nothing At All" by Minor Soul which over 850,000 views on youtube and over 1 million internationally.

THE MUSCLE IN QUESTION at FringeNYC this August

The Muscle in Question is a full-length play in one act about how the concept of the human brain has an effect on a society's day to day well being, experience, and existence. The play follows a neurologist named Peter and his daughter Violet as they grieve the loss of Violet's mother and make discoveries about the brain as both a literal and figurative answer to some of life's questions.

They are excited to have started their season with the well-known play by David Auburn and proud of how the production turned out.
