Deadline has reported that Oscar nominee David Weisman has died at age 77. He is best known as a producer on 'Kiss of the Spider Woman,' and as an accomplished graphic artist.

Atlanta's Capitol City Opera will launch its 2017-18 season on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 at 8 p.m. with Rising Stars, a new staged concert format designed to highlight more than a dozen of the Atlanta-area's most promising young voices.
