​​​​​​​Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, presents its talented line-up for the month of September, with headliners Erik Griffin, from Comedy Central's Workaholics, Labor Day Weekend, September 2 - 4; Rosebud Baker, from her Comedy Central stand-up special, 'Whiskey Fists,' Labor Day Weekend, September 5; Ms. Pat, from the BET+ original series The Ms. Pat Show, September 9 - 11; Anthony Rodia, from his YouTube series Road Rage Wednesdays, September 16 - 18; and Gareth Reynolds, host of 'The Dollop' podcast, September 24 and 25.

The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced The Colony Comedy Series - Hosted by Damon Williams, three evenings of non-stop laughter beginning on Friday, April 17, and continuing on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, August 22. Curtain will be at 8pm for all three shows.

ABFF Ventures announced today their selection of finalists who will compete at the 7th annual ABFF Comedy Wings Competition, presented by HBO. Last night, nine comedians competed in the ABFF Comedy Wings Semifinals Showcase held at the HaHa Comedy Club in Los Angeles, hosted by Chris Spencer. 

Lend Me A Tenor at Player's Guild of Dearborn, running now until January 27th, is a rip-roaring show that will leave you laughing throughout the entire performance. This Ken Ludwig farce is set in September 1934. Saunders, the general manager of the Cleveland Grand Opera Company, is primed to welcome the world-famous Tito Merelli, II Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation, to appear for one night only as 'Otello.' The star arrives late, and through a hilarious series of mishaps, is given a double dose of tranquilizers and passes out. His pulse is so low that Saunders and his assistant, Max, believe he's dead. In a frantic attempt to salvage the evening, Saunders persuades Max to get into Merelli's 'Otello' costume and fool the audience into thinking he's II Stupendo. Max succeeds admirably, but Merelli comes to, and gets into his other costume ready to perform. Now two Otello's are running around in costume and two women are running around in lingerie, each thinking she is with II Stupendo.

Back for a second year, Laughter N The Ville is a rip-roaring comedy show, offering a night of hilarity that will leave the audience laughing for hours. We Must Breathe featured performances from poets and playwrights directed by Victory Gardens' Associate Artistic Producer Joanie Schultz, and a forum discussion on the performance topics, moderated by Congo Square Theatre's Artistic Director Samuel Roberson.
