BIO
Colleen spent 7 seasons at Rainbow Stage with highlights including: Mlle. Therrien/The Hockey Sweater, Cinderella/Cinderella, Crystal/Little Shop of Horrors, Sister Mary Robert/Sister Act, Cosette/Les Misérables and Ariel/The Little Mermaid. Other credits: Alice/Alice in Wonderland (MTYP/Bad Hats), Jessicake/Shopkins Live - NA Tour (KOBA), Tunny/American Idiot (WST) and Shprintze/Fiddler on the Roof (RMTC). TV/Film: Séance, Wintertide, Time Cut, Polarized and Top 4 Dorothy (CBC’s Over The Rainbow). Colleen holds a Bachelor of Music in Classical Vocal Performance from the Desautels Faculty of Music and has been a guest soloist with both the Winnipeg Symphony and Jazz Orchestras. Apart from training in many dance forms, she is also a world class highland dance champion, instructor and choreographer.

Bad Hat’s Theatre’s Alice in Wonderland, presented by Tweed & Company Theatre, is not the same Alice you grew up with. This Alice (Colleen Furlan) is a child in grade school. Alice shows up for class with her homework assignment incomplete because she doesn’t know what to write in response to the final question, “What will you be when you grow up?” As is typical of precocious children, Alice questions everything, from the mundane to the profound.

Toronto and to all of Canada in their living rooms. Featuring Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber himself, the show is a nation-wide search to cast Dorothy in the new Mirvish Production of The Wizard of Oz. Joining Lord Lloyd Webber on the search are judges Arlene Philips, Thom Allison and Louise Pitre and host Daryn Jones. BWW was on hand for the first show to bring readers all the excitement as these girls battle it out for a chance to don the ruby slippers and become a star.
