Filipina-Canadian Actress Aida King Cast in Upcoming Christopher Broughton Suspense Thriller LIVE

Christopher Broughton, who is a producer at 20th Century Fox and the CEO ofMoxie Motion Pictures Inc.,has announced that Actress Aida King has been cast for the Movie, LIVE. The Hollywood suspense thriller will be filmed in the Philippines, Thailand and the US. Aida King will join what will be an A -List castfor the production ofthe film. ChristopherBroughton, in casting Aida King,said, 'There is a need for more diversity in the talent that is being groomed for film and television. Aida King's screen test was nothing short of a success and as an emerging acting talent and we look forward to developing her on screen, as she can transform into so many different looks and ethnicities.' The tall sultry and strikingly beautiful, multi lingual, Toronto Canada Native of Philippine ancestry, for her part, has come from relative obscurity to be cast in what will most likely be her breakout role in Hollywood and relishes the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the industry. Her previous experience was in short movies, but since her screen test, she is now up for supporting roles in several feature films that are currently in development or pre production in Hollywood.

Producers Scott Sanders and Wynton Marsalis have announced the roster of musicians who will form the Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars and play nightly on Broadway in the new musical After Midnight. Hand-picked by Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center's nine-time Grammy and Pulitzer Prize Award-winning Artistic Director, the band includes 17 of the finest soloists and ensemble players in the music world today. Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, After Midnight begins preview performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Friday, October 18, 2013 with an official opening night set for Sunday, November 3, 2013.

Multi-Platinum superstars Toni Braxton and Kenny 'Babyface' Edwards are the latest Grammy Award-winning artists set to join the roster of 'Special Guest Star' vocalists in the new Broadway musical After Midnight. With an impressive 16 Grammy Awards between them, Braxton and Edwards will join the company following k.d. lang, Tuesday, March 18, 2014 through Sunday, March 30, 2014. As previously announced, After Midnight will reintroduce the Cotton Club's exciting tradition of welcoming the stars of today in limited engagements throughout the musical's run. After Midnight will begin preview performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street) on Friday, October 18, 2013 with an official opening night set for Sunday, November 3, 2013. Joshua Henry will join Amber Riley ("Glee"), Jared Grimes and Adriane Lenox in New York City Center's acclaimed production of Cotton Club Parade, returning for seven performances from November 14-18, 2012. (Mr. Henry replaces the previously announced Brandon Victor Dixon. Mr. Dixon is no longer available due to scheduling conflicts.) Conceived by Jack Viertel and presented under the auspices of City Center's Tony Award-winning Encores! series, Cotton Club Parade will once again be directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, with music direction by Jazz at Lincoln Center Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis.
