SheNYC Arts, the country's premier program for showcasing up-and-coming women writers and composers, has announced their lineup for the 2021 SheNYC Summer Theater Festival.

PLAGUE DOCTOR, a new play written by Charlotte Ahlin and directed by David Lee Huynh. Come for the creepy bird mask, stay for the whirlwind tour of musical theater, fairy tales, comedy, Greco-Roman history, and reality show intrigue!

Presented by the SoHo Playhouse as part of their 'Best of SoHo Benefit Streaming Series,' and co-produced by Fat Knight Theatre and Lizardfolk, comes the new play by Charlotte Ahlin, PLAGUE DOCTOR, an almost irresponsibly loose retelling of, 'The Decameron', directed with humor and heart by David Huynh.

Wild Ginger Project announces the opening of THE SUMMONING, a new play written by Charlotte Ahlin, and directed by Kat Yen. The production will open March 6, 2020 at Alchemical Studios and run through March 23, 2020; Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays and Mondays at 7pm. Tickets are available now.

Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre's new family-friendly adaptation of Little Women is a swirling enchantment. The production brings the audience right inside the March's family home within the majestic wood-paneled hall of South Oxford Space. Sip hot cocoa, hang Christmas garlands with the sisters, and embark upon a coming-of-age story of four brilliant, unique young women. Angeles is the fourth Roundabout Directing Fellow; this season she will assist on Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, work with the theatre's artistic team as a script reader, and use Roundabout's resources to develop her own projects.

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director | Jim Bredeson, Managing Director) today announced that their eighth annual festival of 10-minute plays of heightened language and classic themes will feature two brand new commissions from Tina Howe and Doug Wright, alongside 6 brand new plays chosen from hundreds of submissions from playwrights across the country.

The day of staged readings, benefitting the She NYC Summer Theater Festival, will take place at The Producers Club on December 17th.

Casts will include Tina Benko, Bill Buell, Robert Clohessy, Emily Donahoe, Clifton Duncan, Teresa Avia Lim, Joan MacIntosh, Nadine Malouf, Howard W. Overshown, Alfredo Narciso, and Linda Powell.

Critically acclaimed Fat Knight Theatre premiered the second play of their 2016 - 2017 Season with Charlotte Ahlin's The Summoning at the Winterfest Theater Festival Competition. Ahlin is a recent graduate of Oberlin College and a feature writer for Bustle.com. The limited run is directed by Emily Lyon, who recently directed the fall touring production of The Tempest for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. She also served as dramaturge for the New York Times Critic's Pick, Sense & Sensibility produced by BEDLAM. Fat Knight Theate recently produced the hit play ChipandGus at the 2016 FringeNYC and Fringe Encore Series
