American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive National Audition Tour will kick off on January 7, 2023, visiting a total of 19 cities through February 5, 2023. Intermediate and advanced students, ages 9 to 24, are invited to audition for ABT’s Summer Intensives, Collegiate Summer Intensive, and Young Dancer Summer Workshops.

The Clive & Valerie Barnes Foundation has announced the date for the 12th Annual Clive Barnes Awards. Hosted by New York 1's Frank DiLella, the presentation of the awards recognizing excellence in theater and dance will take place on Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at 3pm at the Westbeth Studio.

American Ballet Theatre’s Summer Intensive Virtual Audition Tour will kick off on January 8, 2021 for a total of six weekends through February 14, 2021. Intermediate and advanced students, ages 9 to 24, are invited to audition for ABT’s Summer Intensive, Collegiate, and Young Dancer Summer Workshop programs in virtual classes conducted over Zoom.

The Clive Barnes Foundation, today announced finalists for the 10th Annual Clive Barnes Awards, recognizing excellence in Theater and Dance. According to the New York Times, the list includes Celia Rose Gooding (Jagged Little Pill), Sophia Anne Caruso (Beetlejuice), Andrew Burnap (The Inheritance), and Christopher Livingston (The Great Society) in the theatre category, and India Bradley, Roman Mejia, Kellie Drobnick, and Aran Bell in the dance category.

New York City's leading center for complete ballet education, Ballet Academy East (BAE), today announced its 20th annual Spring Performance series taking place at Hunter College's Kaye Playhouse, May 31-June 2, 2019. Approximately 135 students from BAE's Pre-Professional Division will perform during the series. The program features Sleeping Beauty, Aurora's Wedding staged by Maina Gielgud and includes world premieres by Charles Askegard, Amanda Edge, and Alan Hineline. Works by Darla Hoover, Jenna Lavin and Marcia Dale Weary round out the program.

The Clive Barnes Foundation, under the leadership of former Royal Ballet soloist Valerie Taylor-Barnes, awarded its prizes today for the 9th Annual Clive Barnes Awards, recognizing excellence in Theater and Dance, to Edmund Donovan (Theater, Lewiston/Clarkston) and Zoey Anderson (Dance, Parsons Dance). The awards were presented by Michael Novak, artistic director of Paul Taylor Dance Company and Tony-winner Beth Leavel, currently starring in Broadway's The Prom. The event, hosted by New York Post columnist and WOR radio personality Michael Riedel was held at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center.
