Everyone Dance series started as a joint project of Stefanie Nelson Dancegroup and AHRC New York, providing movement classes and performance opportunities for disabled adults. The collaboration resulted in a workshop course that allowed people with intellectual disabilities not only to learn dance but also to teach it ‚Ästas was the case with Ervine Haskins, a young man from Crown Heights who discovered his calling as a dance teacher when given an opportunity to instruct others. His remarkable story is the subject of this mini-documentary: https://vimeo.com/671316925 and he will be one of the festival‚Äôs instructors.¬†

Based on the beloved 1946 holiday movie classic, this charming musical is sure to inspire and entertain. A WONDERFUL LIFE will run tonight, September 18, through November 29 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Official Press Opening will be October 14, 2015. Cohan, is joined by a terrific cast including the 'Four Cohans': Jim Walton as George's father, Jerry, Melodie Wolford of Putnam Valley as George's mom, Nellie and Amanda Trusty as his sister, Josie. George's first wife, Ethel, is played by Laura Schutter and Jeanette Minson is Agnes, who becomes George's second wife.
