A dramatic musical about the life of artist Claude Monet will premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year. A Mirrored Monet will run for nine performances at the Emerald Theatre in Greenside @ Nicolson Square, 17 - 26 August.

The York Theatre Company, as part of its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present a staged reading of the new musical Monet, with music and lyrics by Carmel Owen (Asylum: The Strange Case of Mary Lincoln), and book by Joan Ross Sorkin (In the Theatre). Monet will play two performances only on Friday, March 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

The York Theatre Company and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, will present the premiere of two new musicals: Monet, with Book by Joan Ross Sorkin and Music & Lyrics by Carmel Owen, and Goodbye Barcelona, written by Judith Johnson and K.S. Lewkowicz at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.
