Free Multicultural Dance Festival Comes to Brooklyn

Purelements: An Evolution in Dance, presents the fourth annual Dance Brooklyn: A World Celebration, May 11, 2019 at 7:00p.m. A FREE cultural celebration of music, dance, and community, Dance Brooklyn showcases the richness of all the borough's pre-existent and new communities. The event celebrates cultural differences while highlighting the similarities shared by a global people. The 2019 Festival will include performances by Purelements: An Evolution in Dance, Something Positive, Brooklyn Irish Dance Company, Ninja Ballet, Allure Latin Dance, and Amira Mor.

Brooklyn Irish Dance Company returns to the historical off-broadway establishment Theatre 80 for a night of music and incredible dancing that tells the story of the journey to America in a beautiful, intimate setting on Saturday, May 4th. Brooklyn Irish Dance Company is joining forces with the award-winning duo Switchback to present Celtic America, a one-night-only celebration of Irish heritage and the American dream. With traditional Irish music & dance, and original folk and Americana tunes, Celtic America will be a night to remember!

By popular demand, Brooklyn Irish Dance Company adds a second show date for their premiere production A Celtic Christmas Story. Experience the magic of Christmas with a story of friendship, love, and coming home for the holidays, presented by an all-star cast of singers and Irish dancers on Tuesday, December 18th at the historic off-Broadway establishment Theatre 80 in downtown Manhattan. This follows the sold out show on Monday, December 17th.
