Aya Aziz is a writer, musician, and performance artist based between New York and Beirut. She wrote and performed her first production, Sitting Regal by the Window, at the Metro Al-Madina Theater in 2014. She then brought the show to both the Fringe and Planet Connections the following summer. Her second production, Eh Dah? Questions for my father, was produced by the Hypokrit Theatre Company at the 2016 New York Musical Festival where it won awards for Most Outstanding Book and Most Outstanding Individual Performance.
