When the school board, PTA, and homophobic parents say no, a group of Broadway stars step in to give Emma and her date the prom of their dreams. Lyric's summer production runs through July 16th at the Civic Center Music Hall.

Brimming with 20th-century American classics along with a British operatic tragedy, the series features six fully-staged works, with performances taking place Oct. 29, 2009 through May 16, 2010.
