The Ziegfeld Society of New York City will present LEGACY ON THE LINE: The Road to Becoming a Rockette, the final production of their 2015-2016 season, on Saturday June 25th, 2016. Presented in association with Legacy 36, LCC, the multi-autobiographical musical revue starring The Legacy Dancers, directed and choreographed by Mary Six Rupert, will take place at Lang Recital Hall, Hunter College (68th Street between Park and Lexington Avenue), and tickets for the 3:30pm and 6:30pm performances are now on sale.

Though I'll admit it strikes the ear rather oddly to hear a character referred to as another one's slave in a play set in 1930s upstate New York, that's just one of the risks involved when transporting Shakespeare into a more modern setting. Nevertheless, director Daniel Sullivan's zippy new Delacorte Theater production of The Comedy of Errors hits the ears and eyes just right for 90 minutes of good laughs and snazzy dancing.
