A GARFIELD CHRISTMAS at King Center Announce Pet Supply Drive

This holiday season, the world's favorite feline - Garfield - is giving back to cats (and dogs!) in need. Through the Dec. 10 performance of A Garfield Christmas, the King Center will be collecting pet food and supplies at the ticket office. All items will be donated to Brevard County Sheriff's Office Animal Services, which provides shelter and support for animals including food, spay/neuter, medications, wellness, and vaccinations.

Anyone who brings a pet food or pet supply donation to the King Center ticket office will receive $5 off one adult priced ticket to the December 10 performance of A Garfield Christmas. Bring your donation to the ticket office window representative to receive your $5 off ticket discount. One discount is available per ticket, and is not valid on previously purchased tickets. The discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

Everyone can participate. You don't have to come to the show to donate. All donations may be dropped off at the King Center ticket office, 3865 N. Wickham Road, Melbourne, during hours of operation: noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

All pet items will be accepted, but here are some recommended items from the BCSO Animal Services Wish List:

• Tube Socks • White Rice

• Fleece Blankets • Kongs - all sizes

• Nylabones - all sizes • Easy Walk Harnesses (Sizes: Medium and Large)
