Once at Theater West End

From the very first note, ONCE draws you in and never lets go. This emotionally captivating musical is the only show to have earned an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, an Olivier Award, and a Tony Award for its unforgettable music. Set on the streets of Dublin, ONCE tells the story of an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant brought together by their shared love of song. Over the course of one transformative week, an unexpected friendship blossoms into a powerful—yet complicated—love story, underscored by a score as heartfelt as it is haunting.

ONCE—with book by Enda Walsh and music and lyrics by Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová—is directed by Derek Critzer, with music direction by Maura Sitzmann. The production stars Andrew Heidorn as Guy and Broadway’s Valerie Torres-Rosario, reprising her celebrated performance as Girl. Torres-Rosario appears courtesy of Actors’ Equity Association. The ensemble of talented actor-musicians features Woodrow Helms (Billy), Elizabeth Golden Curtis (Reza), Daniela Monzon Villegas (Baruska), Andrew Lejuene (Bank Manager), Sean McKinley (Eamon), Dylan Rostin (Emcee), Braeden Rawa (Svec), Bailey Fier (Andrej), Clarissa Moon (Ex-Girlfriend), Jason Bailey (Da), and Elina Moon as swing for Girl/Reza/Ex-Girlfriend.
