Tim Realbuto Brings WUNDERKIND to Orlando Tonight

Award winning New York Theatre performer/ writer and self proclaimed "semi-star" Tim Realbuto has decided to end his critically acclaimed (not-so-solo) solo show Wunderkind in Orlando, Florida tonight, December 27th at 8:00 PM. A former child star of stage and screen and now adult co-writer of the popular Broadway-bound musical Ghostlight, Realbuto has toured Wunderkind all throughout New York City this past year, selling out every venue, including The Public Theatre.

Wunderkind tells the true story of Tim's interesting life growing up in show business, his major successes, his even bigger failures, and how to handle things when life happens. Deeply personal, poignant and hilarious, expect an evening full of well-known tunes, originals, celebrity impressions, and gift giveaways! Was Tim ever a wunderkind? Is it too late to be one now? Isn't that just the dumbest sounding word ever?

On Saturday, December 27th, Realbuto and company will take the stage one last time at 8:00 PM for one night only. Musical director for the evening is provided by Matthew Martin, Realbuto's Ghostlight co-writer. Performance takes place at THE VENUE in Orlando, 511 Virginia Drive, Orlando FL 32803. The evening will feature a supporting cast of Orlando based performers, who will play various people in Tim's life as well as the voices in his head. Joining Realbuto on stage are BRANDY HOOPER (Godspell at The Vine Theatre); ZACHARY LANE (Snapshots at Orlando Fringe); KIMBERLY SARACINO ("The Doctors"); and ANDJELA TARAILO (The Wizard of Oz at Cardinal Stage).

The four-person ensemble join a long list of esteemed guest stars Realbuto has assembled throughout his tour, including Tony Award winner Beth Leavel, Two-time Tony nominee Laura Osnes, Derek Klena, Jason Gotay, Jenna Leigh Green, Two-time Drama Desk nominee Julia Murney, and many more.

Mr. Realbuto is most known for appearing as Jackson Pheiffer in 2002 Universal Pictures release The Emperor's Club, alongside Kevin Kline and Jesse Eisenberg. He played Jimmy on Season One of "The Sopranos" and appeared on two seasons of the Nickelodeon TV show "The Big Help" opposite Michelle Trachtenberg. On the New York stage, he has appeared in Hair; Finian's Rainbow; Romeo and Juliet; Love's Labours Lost; The Winter's Tale Project; and the world premiere Off-Broadway musical White Widow.
