King Center Names Nick Palmiotti As General Manager
Nick joins the Melbourne venue as it celebrates its 38th anniversary.
The King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, Florida has appointed Nick Palmiotti as its new General Manager, marking a leadership transition as the venue celebrates its 38th anniversary.
The King Center opened in 1988 and has since hosted a wide range of performers, including Diana Ross, Willie Nelson, Tony Bennett, Earth, Wind & Fire, and John Legend, along with comedians such as Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Jim Gaffigan, Nate Bargatze, and Tom Segura. The venue also presents touring Broadway productions as part of its programming.
Palmiotti most recently managed operations at the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City, Iowa, and previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Pueblo Memorial Hall in Colorado. His experience spans theaters, arenas, convention centers, and stadiums, with a focus on regional venues and community engagement.
In his new role, Palmiotti will oversee programming, operations, and audience experience, with a focus on continuing the venue’s established programming while expanding community connections.
Community Event
The King Center will host a public open house on June 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will introduce Palmiotti to the community and include participation from local youth arts organizations, along with previews of upcoming programming, including the 2026–2027 Broadway at the King Center series. Attendees will also have the opportunity to select seats for the upcoming season ahead of the general public.
The King Center will continue its programming across music, comedy, and theater as it enters its next phase under new leadership.
