Broadway's Linda Eder to Perform at Van Wezel, 1/30

On January 30, 2014 the Van Wezel will present one of the greatest contemporary voices of our time, Linda Eder. Linda's diverse repertoire spans Broadway, standards, pop, country and jazz. Her performance as the tragic character "Lucy" in the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde, blew the roof off each night with signature songs, "Someone Like You" and a "A New Life." This role earned her a Drama Desk Award, securing her spot as one of America's most beloved singers and dynamic live performers.

Her appearances on the 1987 season of Star Search, where she won for an unprecedented 12 weeks, attracted the attention of audiences and record companies alike. Eder has recorded 15 solo albums which highlight her abundant vocal gifts as well as her skill for delivering dramatic, emotionally resonant interpretations of familiar songs while making them her own.
