SHARON AND MIA is the newest of the Sharon Tate Quadrilogy of plays. This story of two stars is making its NYC debut after playing in Long Beach, LI. It is a story of a friendship in four scenes, beginning on the set of ROSEMARY'S BABY in the summer of '67. Mia Farrow, born of Hollywood royalty and married to Sinatra, the most famous singer in the world, and Sharon, an "Army Brat", in love with the Polish immigrant directing his first picture in America, Roman Polanski, meet and strike up a friendship that will prove to be deep and true. The scenes sweep from the summer of '68 and the deaths of MLK and Robert Kennedy Jr, when Mia has just returned from India and Sharon is studying Kung Fu with legendary Bruce Lee, to New Year's Day 1969 at Joshua Tree in the California desert, with bright futures ahead, to Connecticut in the 1990s, when Mia is trying to figure out her life and how to best care for her children after her turbulent break up with Woody Allen. The play is an honest, frequently funny, heartfelt look at the quest for happiness in good and bad times and the value of "girl time" and true blue bonds.
