The Pigs Next Door at Brooklyn Art Haus

Presented as a part of the first annual NYC Clown Fest at Brooklyn Art Haus!

The Pigs Next Door is an immersive clown show that turns the audience into the neighborhood. Inspired by sitcoms like The Nanny, it follows Peg, a pig housewife, as she navigates her chaotic marriage to her husband, Joel, who happens to be a stuffed animal.

Blending clown, character comedy, improvisation, and audience participation, the show invites viewers to step into the world of the play, becoming characters and shaping the story in real time. As Peg enlists their help to work through her relationship, a strange and complicated domestic world unfolds, one that is as absurd as it is unexpectedly revealing.

At its core, the show aims to build community through performance and to have a stupid, silly time doing it. The Pigs Next Door leaves the audience feeling like they’ve made friends with their neighbors, literally.
