Join us for the world premiere of a rousing new musical full of heart and soul by Neil Berg (The Sabbath Girl) and Bill Nabel. It’s 2015 and Gary Campbell plans on saving the world. But it’s only his first day on the job as an immigrant official and he confronts heartbreak – and hope – as he listens to the challenges and dreams of those looking to forge new lives in the U.S. … and then must decide their fate.
Penguin Rep Theatre will present a 29-hour reading of the new musical Take Me America on February 13, 2026, at Studios 353 in New York City. The work features a book and lyrics by Bill Nabel and music and additional lyrics by Neil Berg.
