"Statuesque" is a medical sci-fi event that explores the fragility of human life, the erosion of human connection in the face of technological hegemony and society’s wholesale acceptance of that status quo. The production runs approximately 1hr 40mins and engages deeply with themes of personal struggles in the face of illness, the burden of family expectations, longevity, and inter-cultural (read: inter-species) ethics.

Amanda Timken
Xsyanni Jackslon will be featured in a starring role as Amanda Timken, Susy's somewhat punkish best friend who is inordinately afraid of scorpions. In reality, Xsyanni is a budding entomologist who isn't afraid of anything
Rengu Zhang
Susie Yanagi
Rengu Zhang will be featured in a starring role as Susie Yanagi, the chief protagonist. Her films have been screened at international and U.S. festivals such as the Asian American International Film Festival. Outside of acting, she is an artist working in painting, drawing and text. She also loves to do archery.
Iza Junkiera
Alyssa Morgan
Iza Junkiera is appearaing as Alyssa Morgan, Dr. Wulffert's PA in the Emergency room and as understudy for Amanda Timken. Her actual medical expertise is limited but she is always eager to learn!

Casey Speer brings years of experience as director, actor and dramatist to this production of STATUESQUE and has transformed its bizarre worlds into something we must believe in
Jared Wofse
Lighting and Sound Designer
Jared is a performer and lighting designer/theatre technician based in Port Washington, NY, and a recent grad of Binghamton University with degrees in musical theatre and electrical engineering. He's a resident technician at Brooklyn Art Haus, lighting dozens of shows ranging from traditional theatre to concerts, dance showcases, circus, and more.
