The play is based on pioneer of free speech, safe sex awareness during the height of the AIDS crisis, and an advocate for the LBGTQ+ community, Robin Byrd. Robyn Bird's Public-access cable show reached unprecedented heights of notoriety from the late 70s all the way through the 90s. Because of being a woman and her celebrating sexuality in all aspects, she became a target by corporate interests and scrutiny. What happen then?
