Two independently created solo works exploring the experience of psychosis from different perspectives. Cleaning Out the Fridge grapples with the fear of becoming one’s parents, and more specifically, the implications when a parent suffers from mental illness. A Taking into Question: Pixelated is a firsthand expression of one woman’s own experience living with a psychological diagnosis. The pieces integrate movement, music, visual art, puppetry, and a sense of humor to convey personal stories.
