As He Likes It: A Shakesqueer Comedy is being revived, this time at the 2018 FRIGID Festival!
This project is an LGBTQ take on William Shakespeare's As You Like It, with the original main character of Rosalind now being Ross. Our Ross has suffered tremendously with the banishment of his father and his attempts to learn who he is under the watchful eye of his not-so-accepting uncle, but his life is thrown into a tailspin the minute he sets his eyes on Orlando. To avoid certain death after his own banishment, Ross must stay in disguise, but must simultaneously find a way to woo his love without drawing suspicion. Hijinks of course abound, as Ross and his companions almost immediately buy a pot farm, and Ross (in disguise as a woman) accidentally gets another suitor.
