RENT To Be Presented By Epic Players With Neurodiverse Cast At A.R.T./New York Theatres

EPIC Players has announced its upcoming production of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Jonathan Larson, to run June 4 through June 14, 2026 at A.R.T./New York Theatres.
Directed by Travis Burbee with musical direction by Blake Brauer, the production will feature a cast that is 99 percent neurodivergent and disabled, reflecting the company’s focus on inclusive performance.
The cast includes Eric Fegan as Mark and Conor Tague as Roger, alongside Genesis Solivan (Mimi), Jocelyn Elena Stout (Maureen), Lai Williams (Joanne), Joshua Cartagena (Angel), Cameron Walker (Collins), and Hunter Hollingsworth (Benny). The ensemble will feature Ahjaah Marie Jewett, Alex Herrera, Andrew Kader, Diana Osorio, Elisa Weiss, Ethan Homan, Gravity Queen of Hope and Love, KEVIN Ray Johnson, Laisha Gonzalez, Malcolm Hollis, Micah Tremblay, Nick Prior, Nina Sarna-Jones, Sarah Getzler, and Sven W.
The musical, which premiered in 1996 and was inspired by La Bohème, follows a group of artists navigating life in New York City’s East Village, exploring themes of friendship, loss, and community during the AIDS crisis.
The creative team also includes assistant director Cassidy Kaye and choreographer Yannick-Robin Eike Mirko.
Performance Information
Performances will take place Wednesdays through Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. from June 4–14 at A.R.T./New York Theatres, located at 502 West 53rd Street.
Accessibility
The production will include an ASL-interpreted performance on June 7 at 2:00 p.m., with additional accessibility services including captioning, audio description, assisted listening devices, and a relaxed performance environment.
