As in 2013, the Barratt Due Institute of Music will once again fill the Opera House with top practitioners of all ages: soloists, chamber ensembles and orchestras. Norway’s leading developer of classical music talent invites you to a day filled with activities for both adults and children. The day will be organised around Barratt Due's motto: «From musical kindergarten to concert podium.» We will start with the very youngest contributors, continue with youth talents, and end with bachelor and masters students. With the exception of the concert in the Main House, the day’s programme and all activities are free and open for everyone.
SECOND HOUSE / EDUCATION CENTER / 1ST BALCONY / FOYER
Talent mingling, open music kindergartens, master classes and ensemble and orchestra auditions will be arranged. There will also be a workshop performance with the vocal division. In addition, there will be opportunities to go to concerts every hour, with various practitioners and repertoires. Audiences will be able to hear performances from talented soloists, chamber musicians, ensembles and orchestras. Children will also have the opportunity to try various instruments.
